A $250.00 non refundable deposit is required. Picking of pups will not occur until 6 weeks of age and only after the picks have been chosen.
We are often asked how we arrive at a price for our pups. Pups are priced based on the pedigree and our investment into the litter. We take our breeding program very seriously and want to be sure all pups get the proper attention from day one, to include the items listed below. It is important to us that a new owner take the addition of a pup into the family very serious too. There are too many pups bought on an impulse, we make every attempt possible to avoid this from happening. We will have questions for you and would expect you will have some for us.
All our pup's are sold with a 26 MONTH health guarantee for genetic defects to include Hips, Elbows and Eyes. Their Tails will be Docked to 40% (AKC Standards) Dew Claws removed at 3 days of age.
POLICY CHANGE FOR 2008 LITTERS
ALL LITTERS WILL BE SOLD WITH AKC LIMITED REGISTRATION, THIS WON'T AFFECT YOUR ABILTY TO RUN HUNT TRIALS. UPLAND HILLS KENNEL WILL RELEASE THE LIMITED REGISTRATION TO A FULL AKC REGISTRATION AT AGE 2 PROVIDED THAT THE DOG HAS OFA CERTIFICATION FOR HIPS. IF IT IS DETERMINED THAT THE DOG IS SHOW QUALITY THE PUP WILL BE SOLD WITH FULL REGISTRATION AT THAT TIME AS SHOWING A DOG WILL NEED FULL REGISTRATION.
Pups will have 2 vaccinations and 3 worming's prior to leaving. All documentation will accompany pup to their new home.
We Microchip (AVID System) each pup for identification purposes and pup evaluation.
Pups will be well socialized and will be introduced to birds at 6 to 7 weeks of age. At that time we will grade the pups.
We don't release pup's until 8 to 10 Weeks depending on the pups development, no exceptions. The decision of when a pup is ready to be released is the sole decision of Upland Hills Kennel
All our pups will be vet checked by our vet prior to leaving and will have a health certificate. New owners have 3 Business days to have pup checked by a vet of their choice. Pups will be up to date on all vaccinations and worming.
Transportation costs are the responsibility of the purchaser, we will be happy to assist in making the arrangements.

We are pleased to announce the breeding of Hornet and Anna, litter expected May 21st 2008. We expect this litter to produce solid hunting and companion dogs with temperaments to match. Hornet is a pointer and fantastic water dog, Anna has begun her Upland Training but is a solid retriever and water dog.
